Stockholm is the capital and largest city of Sweden; it is also the cultural, political and financial hub of Sweden. Stockholm spreads over 14 islands and was build in the 13th century and today it is believed to be one of the most beautiful and charming cities on the planet because of the greenery. Stockholm is one of the most visited cities in the region and sometimes is also referred to as ‘Venice of the North’. The construction of Stockholm Royal Palace completed in the year 1760, it is the official residence of the Swedish monarch. The royal palace is located in the Gamla Stan (Old Town) and is one of the main attractions in Stockholm.

The Ericsson Globe formerly know as Stockholm Globe Arena is one of the most eye catching attractions in Stockholm, it is a  giant white sphere actually it is the national indoor arena of Stockholm, the place was inaugurated in 1989.

Storkyrkan or the Stockholm Cathedral is the oldest church in Gamla Stan (Old Town). The cathedral originally dates back to the13th century but was remodeled in Baroque style around 1740. The cathedral is situated next to the Royal Palace.
