Sri Lanka is an island off the South Eastern coast of India, Sri Lanka has got a rich and unique culture, any visitor can indulge himself into good beaches, the ancient cities, the natural beauty, the wildlife and more, Sri Lanka is naturally blessed no less than seven sites are declared as “World Heritage Sites” by UNESCO. The cuisine is great and cheap and the people are friendly. But security situation in Jaffna peninsula and some other regions remain volatile because the ongoing fighting between the Sri Lankan government and the LTTE rebels some pockets in Northern and eastern areas are heavily mined. The capital city of Sri Lanka is Colombo and other destination of interests being Kandy and Anuradhapura.
