Kek Lok Si Temple
Kek Lok Si Temple is located near the village of Ayer Hitam, it is said to be the largest Buddhist temple in South-East Asia. The temple has a giant statue of Kuan Yin.

Botanical Park
The Penang Botanic Gardens were build in 1884 by Charles Curtis, the place is known as Waterfall Gardens by the locals as there is a waterfall located within it, the place is quiet popular among the locals.

Penang Bridge
Penang Bridge is one of the longest bridges in the world and a major landmark here, the bridge spans 8.4 km over water, the bridge connects the Penang Island to the mainland.

Penang Hill
Penang Hill gives a great view of Penang Island, one can hike up the hill or there is the Penang Hill Railway (a little cable train service) that can take you up there.

Snake Temple
The Snake Temple of Penang was built in 1850; the temple is famous as it has pit vipers living within the temple grounds, the number of snakes has dwelled over the years and also they are devenomed, the temple was build in memory of memory of the renowned Chinese monk Chor Soo Kong.
