The Seif Palace were built in 1896 and is one of the most historic monuments in Kuwait City, the monuments suffered quiet a bit during the Iraqi occupation.

National Museum
The National Museum is located near the National Assembly; the museum comprises four buildings and a planetarium, much of the place was destroyed by Iraqi invaders, many artworks were stolen and the buildings were damaged.
