Tel Aviv is the largest city in Israel and is located on the Mediterranean coast, it is a rapidly growing city located about 60 km north-west of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv has a rich historical and cultural heritage, Tel Aviv is one of the liveliest cities you will come across with amazing night life, restaurants, coffee shops, or smoke-filled bars, beaches, cafes, upscale shopping and a secular lifestyle.

Tel Aviv beaches are free in the city center however an entrance fee is charged at Hatzuk also in Herzliya. Beaches often bear names of something prominent nearby, namely a street or hotel, leading to confusion specially when hotels reflag to other brands. The landmark Gordon Health Club has huge gigantic saltwater pool, with admission separately obtained from its club however visitors must show   passports. Both Hayarkon Park and the Sea Center at the Tel Aviv Marina has boat rentals. Park Darom is equipped with boat-free water ski fun by way of cables attached to a crane for pulling skiers about an artificial lake.

 

Ben-Gurion House

It is a two-story past home of Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion and his wife Paula, where the couple lived. Ben-Gurion presented the house and contents, inclusive of their personal library of approximately 20,000 books, to the State of Israel. Upstairs, used exclusively by Ben-Gurion, has four library rooms and a bedroom whereas Downstairs, visitors can envision the kitchen and “Paula’s room,” where the leader had spent his final days. There is in addition a 20-minute film. Admission is free.

 

Bet Bialik Museum and Bet Rubin Museum

Bet Bialik Museum and Bet Rubin Museum

Having built in the year 1927, Hebrew poet Chiam Nachman Bialik’s previous home stands just as it had been upon his death in 1934. The museum contains 94 books which he wrote along with translations in about 28 languages. It is located at 22 Bialik Street. Next is Israeli painter Reuven Rubin, (1893-1974), donated his earlier home to the city of Tel Aviv. Now standing as an art museum containing 45 of Rubin's works that has formed a permanent collection, it also presents other Israeli artists. Upstairs is an art library. It is located at 14 Bialik Street.

 

Habimah Square

It is a cultural center complex, among Israel’s most vital, which has the Habimah Theatre, Mann Auditorium, also the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion. Initiated in Russia in 1918 and repositioned to Tel Aviv 10 years soon after, Habimah Theatre is  regarded as the home of Israel's national theatre company, which has most performances in Hebrew and also simultaneous translations into other languages. Mann Auditorium is abode of the Israel’s Philharmonic Orchestra, acknowledged in 1937 and where the Legendary Yitzak Perlman is known to have started his career. The Helena Rubinstein Pavilion reveals contemporary art by Israeli as well as International artists in addition to it, it also houses the Helena Rubinstein Miniature Rooms Collection.

The Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum, started in 1986 during the 23rd World Diamond Congress is in the heart of Israel’s diamond complex. It is an autonomous subsidiary of the Israel Diamond Institute. It displays the Israeli achievements within the industry containing permanent demonstrations portraying the story of diamonds. It also has guided tours.

 

Jaffa

Jaffa

Around 4,000 years ago, the port city Jaffe is said to have served Egyptian and Phoenician sailors. It is said that Jaffa had been named after Noah’s son Japhet which was built after the flood. demolished and re-erected dozens of times, Jaffa’s history is marked by great commotion. Bargaining is still there in Old Jaffa, an attraction for tourists. Recommended are minimum three hours of walking around Jaffa, with crucial sights counting the Clock Tower in the central square, the Jaffa Museum, Kikar Kedumin (now an artsy place with restaurants and gift shops), and the port marina with its profusion of houseboats and restaurants.
