Java

Java or Jawa is the site of the capital city Jakarta; it is also the most populous island of Indonesia. The island was formed is dominated by an active volcanic mountain range, Java offers to it’s visitors splendid landscapes, lots of natural beauty, a great mix of cultures and religions.

Borobudur Stupa

Borobudur is in central Java, it is a ninth-century Mahayana Buddhist monument; the construction of the monument was planned and started somewhere around 775 AD by Hindus. The monument is both a shrine to the Lord Buddha and a place for Buddhist pilgrimage and also a World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO.
