Zagreb is the capital of Croatia which is located in the southern slopes of the Medvednica Mountain. With strong Italian influence the city has a architecture and cobbled streets. More than half million tourists have visited this city in 2005 from Italy, Germany and Austria. Zagreb is also called as a city of museum where lots of art which is done by different artist and many collection of Egyptian mummy and also there is a collection of different stone monuments.

Medvedgrad

Medvedgrad are the imposing mountain overlooking Zagreb, on the mountains there is the medieval fortress of Medvedgrad, the fortress was built from 1249 to 1254, there is no public transport to Medvednica, but it is possible to walk downhill from the top of the mountain-gondola, also one can enjoy great views of Zagreb from the top of the mountain.
