Valparaiso

Valparaíso is an important city of Chile as it is one of that country's most important seaports; the city has served as a major stopover for ships traveling between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans by crossing the Straits of Magellan in the 19th century.  The city is located in central Chile and houses the National Congress although Santiago is the national capital. Valparaíso is rich in architecture and culture and hence was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Valparaíso is rich in culture and history and hence has some good museums like the Museo de Historia Natural, Manor or country house, Museo del Mar Lord Cochrane, Military attraction or museum, Nautical museum or attraction and Naval and Maritime Museum.

Cerro Concepcion

Cerro Concepcion is a hill in the city, here many an accommodations are available for travelers and tourists tend to prefer this place. The place is rich historically and architecturally.

Valparaiso also has beautiful churches to explore like the Cathedral Church of Valparaiso, Perpetuo Socorro Church, San Luis Gonzaga Church, German Lutheran Church and St. Paul's Anglican Church.
