Futuna

Futuna is an island of Wallis and Futuna in the Pacific Ocean, it is a beautiful island having attractions ranging from old extinct volcano to awesome coral reefs. The island is also famous as the place where Pierre Chanel was martyred in 1841.

Pierre Chanel Church

The towering Pierre Chanel church is situated northwest of Futuna's airport, there is a large wooden statue of Chanel at the door, the Church also has some of saint’s clothes, the saint was killed in 1841.
