Hay-on-Wye is a small town in Wales; the town is situated on the River Wye within the Brecon Beacons National Park and is often described as ‘the town of books’ as the place has at least 41 separate bookshops. Hay-on-Wye is known across Wales for it’s annual Hay Festival.
Hay-on-Wye Castle
The construction of Hay-on-Wye Castle wasprobably started in the early 12th century and has been destroyed and was reconstructed by many Kings over the years, the place has great history, there is also another castle nearby.
