Funafuti

Funafuti is the capital of the island nation of Tuvalu and the most populated atoll in this small country. The largest island on this Funafuti atoll is Fongafale which consists of four villages of which one is Vaiaku, where the Tuvalu's government is located. The most prominent building on Funafuti atoll is the Church of Tuvalu and there is also the remains of American aircraft that crashed on Funafuti during World War II, which is a local attraction now.
