Merv

Merv or Marv is an old city on the Silk Road, the old city center of the city is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has a rich historic, political and cultural past as it had a great strategic value then, also it is believed by some that Merv was the largest city in the world in the twelfth century.
