Tunis

Tunis is the capital of the Tunisia, it is situated on a large Mediterranean gulf, behind the Lake of Tunis and the port of La Goulette, Tunis is modern Mediterranean city with a growing economy, the city extends along the coastal plain and the hills that surround it.

Bardo Museum

The Bardo Museum contains a major collection of antiquities from Roman empires and Ancient Greece, the museum was originally a 13th century Hafsid palace, located in the suburbs of Tunis.

Zitouna Mosque

Zitouna Mosque is the largest mosque in Tunisia. Non-Muslims can only enter the courtyard and are expected to dress modestly.

Medina of Tunis

The medina of Tunis has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The medina contains some 700 monuments, including palaces, mosques, mausoleums, madrasas and fountains dating from the Almohad and the Hafsid periods.
