Aleppo

Aleppo is a city in northern Syria which was historically built on a small group of hills. Aleppo is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and was a trading place for the region for long, there is a small river name Quweq which runs through the city, for visitors the city gas attractions ranging from the old centre, the citadel, the great mosque, the Jdeide quarter and more.

The Citadel

The citadel is the main attraction in Aleppo; it is visible from almost anywhere as it sits on a hill in the center of the city, the current structure dates from the 13th century.
