Geneva is the second most populous city in Switzerland and an important financial centre not only for Switzerland but also for the whole planet. Geneva is a global city and is often referred as 'smallest of the large capitals', ‘the world's smallest metropolis’ and the ‘Peace Capital’, the city is also an important international destination as it is or was home to Red Cross, UN, World Health Organization and other banking institutions. Geneva also has host of attractions like museums, historical sights, nightlife and more.

The St. Pierre Cathedral is a cathedral in Geneva, the construction of this Cathedral started in the 12th century, from excavation it is discovered that on this site three cathedrals coexisted, also there is a museum in the premises.

Jet d'Eau

Jet d'Eau or water-jet is one of the symbols and most famous landmark in Geneva; it is one of the largest fountains in the world and is visible throughout the city. The fountain is situated at the point where Lake Geneva empties into the Rhone River; also the first Jet d'Eau was installed in 1886.

Palais des Nations

Palais des Nations was built between 1929 and 1938 to house the League of Nations, today the place houses large collection of public art, a library and landscaped grounds.
