Berne
The city of Berne or Bern in German is the capital city of Switzerland; it is a medium sized city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Berne is a medieval city founded in 1191, on and around the River Aare, the official language of Berne is German. Bern is one of the finest examples of medieval civic architecture in Europe with sandstone buildings, historic towers and 11 unique fountains. The noble dome of the House of Parliament presides over the city.

Berne Historical Museum
The Berne Historical Museum is Switzerland's second largest historic museum, the museums was built in 1894 by the Neuchâtel architect André Lambert. The historic museum has many interesting ethnographic and Bernese historical collections. Berne also has other museums like Kunstmuseum, Swiss Alpine Museum and others.
