Paramaribo

Paramaribo is the capital, the main port and largest city of Suriname, the historic old center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002, the city has many historic colonial buildings like the St. Peter & St. Paul Cathedral, Hindu temples, mosques, local markets, parks like The Palmentuin and the Cultuurtuin and more.

Fort Zeelandia

Fort Zeelandia is a 17th century fort which now houses the Suriname Museum; it is in good condition located along the Suriname River.
