Madrid the capital and largest city of Spain is an ever active city. The Palacio Real or Royal Palace

The Palacio Real is one of the finest and extremely impressive palaces in Europe. The palace comprises of 840 windows, 240 balconies, 44 sets of stairs and 110 doors. The key attractions are King Carlos III’s private Rococo décor apartments, the grand throne room and the banquet hall seating up to 140 for state dinners. The Royal Pharmacy, the Library, and the Royal Armoury are a must visit places.

Temple Of Debod

The Temple of Debod is an ancient Egyptian temple in Madrid. The temple built in the 4th Century B.C. is dedicated to the gods Amon and Isis. It constitutes one of the few works of ancient Egyptian architecture which can be seen outside Egypt and the only one of its kind in Spain. This temple also has a great and interesting history on its shoulders which is depicted in the form of a small exhibition in the temple.

The garden exhibits a wide variety of plants from all 5 continents which includes more than 30000 different species in total. Parque del Buen Retiro

Parque del Buen Retiro

Parque del Buen Retiro is a one time private gardens of royalty and today the Retiro Park is open to all without charge. The park's gardens provide a welcome change of pace for the visitor to Madrid. The park also has three art galleries, Casa de Vacas, Palacio de Cristal and Palacio de Velázquez. During weekends and holidays the park is filled with various performances by Madrid citizens such as mime artists and jugglers, painters, singers, puppet masters and fortune-tellers.
