Castries is the capital city and the main port of Saint Lucia, Castries is a relatively small city and the architecture is quiet old and fascinating, also fascinating are the markets Market near the port, a great place to pick up some souvenirs. Castries is also the political and financial hub of Castries.

Castries is a great destination for Diving and other water sports like any other West Indian destination, the waters are clear, there are many diving resorts which are fun to be in.

Walcott Square was formerly known as Columbus Square, all the major destinations are around here as it is at the very center of Castries.

Immaculate Conception Church

The Immaculate Conception Church is located on the Walcott Square, it is the largest church in the Caribbean, it is 200ft long by 100ft wide.
