Charlestown

Charlestown is in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis and it is the capital of the island of Nevis, Charlestown is situated near the southern end of Pinneys Beach and is the major hub, where the residential areas of the island are concentrated, Charlestown has some important and architecturally beautiful buildings, also Charlestown was the birthplace and childhood home of Alexander Hamilton. For visitors Charlestown has a museum dedicated to the life and time of Alexander Hamilton and the Memorial Square which is in the memory of all the Nevisian soldiers who died during World Wars I and II.
