Kigali

Kigali is situated in the centre of Rwanda and is the capital and largest city of the country, Kigali was made the capital when Rwanda gained independence in 1962 since then it has been the economic and cultural hub of Rwanda.

The Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre

The Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre commemorates the Rwandan genocide of 1994, the centre was opened on the 10th Anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, in April 2004, the Centre is built on a site where over 250,000 people are buried.
