Manila
Manila is the capital of the Philippines and a bustling and cosmopolitan city, the city is located on the eastern shores of Manila Bay, the Old Manila can be found inside fortified walls of Intramuros (meaning within the walls). The much of city of Manila was destroyed during World War II but today Manila is one of the most happening cities in it’s neighborhood and has a lot to offer to it’s visitors including a number of attractions, activities and smaller islands nearby to explore.

Intramuros
Intramuros means ‘within the walls’, it was originally known as Old Manila, it is a former city itself enclosed by thick, high walls. Today Intramuros are one of the major and historic attractions in Manila.

Chinatown
The Chinatown is also known as Binondo is one of the largest Chinatowns in the world, it is one of the districts in Manila, the place existed even before the Spaniards came in 1571, today one can find exotic Chinese goods and Chinese cuisine here.

Museums
Manila has a rich history and hence has some interesting museums, the best ones being the National Museum of the Filipino People, the Ayala Museum, Bahay Chinoy, Casa Manila, San Agustin Museum and the Museum of Filipino Political History.

St. Augustine Church
St. Augustine Church has been damaged by WWII but are still beautiful example of colonial architecture, the church was completed by 1607 and is the oldest church in Philippines. The church is a UNESCO certified World Heritage Site.
