Agadez

Agadez is sometimes also known as Agades, it is the largest city in northern Niger, it is a market town located 740 kms northeast of Niamey the national capital, the town was founded in the 11th century, Agadez today is also the Air, one of the traditional Tuareg federations.

Air Mountains

The Air Mountains are north of Agadez. They are a very impressive natural wonder which soar to a height of over 6000 feet.

Mosque of Agadez (The Grande Mosque)

Mosque of Agadez was built in the 16th century, today it is one of the important attractions, it is unique in architecture with no minarets or dome but like a stupa conical. It’s a triangle with 5 stories.

Palace of Sultan

The Palace of Sultan, Agadez is among the important tourist Attractions in Agadez even though one is not completely allowed into the Palace.
