Noumea

Noumea is the capital city of the French territory of New Caledonia. It is situated on a peninsula in the south of New Caledonia's main island, Grande Terre, Noumea has beautiful beaches, colonial mansions and more, Noumea is one of few modernized capitals in the Pacific Islands and yet not flooded with tourists.

Museums

Noumea has many a good museums like the Museum of New Caledonia, City of Noumea Museum, The Geological Museum and Maritime History Museum.

Amedee Lighthouse Island

The Amedee Lighthouse is situated nearly 20 kms south of Noumea, it’s a 140 year-old lighthouse built under Napoleon III towers.
