Wellington

Wellington is a harbor city which situated at the southwestern tip of the North Island in New Zealand; it is the capital city of New Zealand and is nick named Windy Wellington. Wellington is a vibrant and amazing destination with rich blend of culture, heritage and art. Wellington is also the entertainment capital of the country and also a very scenic destination surrounded by hills and a rugged coastline, there is never a dull moment in Wellington, visitors can indulge in activities like white water rafting, safe swimming, boating, hunting and hiking, golfing, horse trekking and bush walks.

Mountains

Wellington is surrounded by hills and hence it is great hiking destination, also there are many lookout points to where one can hike and enjoy the landscape the best ones being Mount Victoria, Mount Kaukau, Wrights Hill, Brooklyn Windmill and Massey Memorial.

Oriental Parade

Wellington is also home to many a pretty beach like the Oriental Parade, where one can chill out and relax; the place is quiet popular amongst locals who come here for jogging, swimming, sunbathing and cycling

Karori Wildlife Sanctuary

Karori Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best places to experience native wildlife of New Zealand, the sanctuary is also known for it’s pest-exclusion fence which is designed to keep non-native land mammals out.
