Naypyidaw, the new capital of Myanmar, the name means "Royal City", but can also translated as "abode of kings", the new capital is approximately 320 kilometers north of Yangon and pretty close to Pyinmana, it is believed that the military junta re-located the capital because they consider Naypyidaw to be a safer location for them to rule from.

Three enormous sculptures that of Burmese kings Anawrahta, Bayinnaung and Alaungpaya U Aung Zeya are the biggest draw in Naypyidaw, these kings are considered the three most important kings in Burmese history.
