Oudaia Kashba
The Oudaia Kashba is a fortress built in the 17th century by the Andalusian pirates. These pirates were famous to be invincible and a lot about them can be learned here.

Royal Palace
The construction of Royal palace was started in 1864, the palace is surrounded by a wall and the wall has three gates, the area inside the walls is called Mechouar.

Hassan Tower
The Hassan Tower dates back to 1195, the mosque was supposed to be a huge one and still today it’s massive minaret dominate the Rabat skyline, part of the mosque was destroyed in the earthquake of 1755.

Archaeological Museum
Rabat has a few good museums one of them being The Archaeological Museum, this museum has a good collection of exhibits and artifacts especially that of Roman bronzes dating from the first and second centuries.

Beaches
Rabat has some fine beaches especially in the south of the city.
