MAURITIUS

Mauritius is located in the South Western Indian ocean, though it is nearer to Africa it has more of a English and French influence on it, beaches is probably what Mauritius is all about, Mauritius is almost entirely surrounded by coral reefs and the water surrounding the island is rich in marine life thus making it a perfect destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Mauritius also has some nice sightseeing attractions like botanical gardens, museums and more there are also some good spas, one can also indulge in shopping once in Mauritius, deep sea fishing is also quite popular with tourists, Port Louis is the capital city of Mauritius and the other major destination being Curepipe.
