Tichit
Tichit is a town in Mauritania, it is located at the foot of the Tagant plateau. The town was founded in about 1150 and today it is known for salt trading and date farming, Tichit was also the site of the former Koranic school and thus has a beautiful mosques and an interesting architecture, most of the building in Tichit are made with the six color stones which are found in the vicinity, for visitors attractions like the mosque and a small museum is there.
