Valletta
Valletta is the capital city of Malta; the City of Valletta was officially recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980 because of it’s historic importance and its 16th century architectural heritage, the city dates back to 16th century and is also sometimes referred to as City of Knights. The city is located in the central-eastern portion of the island of Malta and has many an attractions like the Palace of the Grand Masters, The Upper Barakka Gardens, Manoel Theatre and more for visitors to explore.

Valletta seems to have a museum on every corner; many of Valletta's museums are former palaces like the Armoury Museum and the Malta War Museum, other notable museums are The Cathedral Museum, The National Museum of Archaeology, The National Museum of Fine Art and more.

St. John's Co Cathedral
St. John's Co Cathedral was built by the Knights of Malta between 1573 and 1578, the cathedral is famous for it’s impressive interiors. |
