Kaunas
Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania and a former temporary capital, Kaunas is home to some of the best nightclubs and restaurants in the country, Kaunas has many an attractions for visitors like abandoned forts, museums, a nude statue. Kaunas is located at the confluence of the two largest Lithuanian rivers, the Nemunas and the Neris, and near the Kaunas Lagoon, the largest body of water entirely in Lithuania.

The Ninth Fort was constructed in the late 19th century, initially it was used as a prison by the Soviets and then as a Fort by the Nazis, today The Ninth Fort museum contains collections of historical artifacts related both to Soviet and Nazi genocides, as well as materials related to the earlier history of Kaunas and Ninth Fort.
