Goa is located on the west coast of India; it is India's smallest state. Goa remained a Portuguese colony for long; the Portuguese annexed it soon after arriving in the early 16th century. The city still has lots of Portuguese influence also Goa has rich flora and fauna. Goa is renowned world over for it’s beaches and party atmosphere, the state is visited by hoards of foreign and Indian tourists every year especially during Christmas and New Year. For visitors there is an unending list of attractions and activities like water sports, forests, water falls, forts, architecture and also there is Goa carnival.

Goa is also dotted by some great temples like the Saraswat Temples like the Mangeshi temple of Priol, the Shanta Durga Temple at Kavele, the Ganapati temple at Khandole, the MahaLaxmi temple at Bandewade and the Sri Nagesh Maharudra Temple at Bandora
