Tegucigalpa
Tegucigalpa is the capital and the largest city of Honduras, the name Tegucigalpa means ‘silver mountain’, the city was badly damaged by Hurricane Mitch in 1998 but now it has been re-built, for visitors Tegucigalpa has a very pleasant climate, it’s old historical center and a range of other attractions, restaurants, shops and offices are located within the Boulevard Morazan

Churches & Cathedrals
In the historical center of Tegucigalpa city, there is this old church Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de los Dolores, the church is located only a few blocks from the Central Park, also there is Iglesia de San Francisco and a Cathedral, dedicated to the patron saint of Tegucigalpa, Michael Archangel which was built between 1765 and 1782.
