Nuuk (Godthab)
Nuuk or Godthab in Danish is the capital and the largest city of Greenland, the city is situated on the west coast of Greenland. The Danish name of Nuuk Godthab means ‘Good Hope’, the city is one of the smallest capital cities in the world by population. For visitors the city has attractions such as old colonial town, statue of Hans Egede, Hans Egede's House and church, the national museum and Santa Claus's post office and activities like Nuuk Snow Festival, Whale watching, Helicopter ride to the inland ice, hiking at Mt. Sermitisiaq (The Saddle).
