Santorini

Santorini is a small archipelago of volcanic islands located in the southern Aegean Sea, Santorini is also sometimes known as Thera, Santorini is located about 200 km south-east from the Greece's mainland. Santorini was formed due to a volcanic explosion, Santorini has long black volcanic beaches and spectacular physical beauty, along with a dynamic nightlife.

Akrotiri is an archaeological site near the tip of the southern horn of the island, it is the most important of several archaeological sites on the Greek island of Santorini. Akrotiri is also nicknamed as the "the Minoan Pompeii".
