Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, the city lies in the centre of eastern Georgia on the banks of the Mtkvari River on the foothills of the Trialeti mountain range. The city derives it’s name from the Georgian word tbili which means warm. Tbilisi was said to be founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang Gorgasali, a Georgian King and has been destroyed and rebuilt 29 times. Tbilisi has a host of attractions for visitors like Freedom Square, Parliament of Georgia, Rustaveli Avenue, Narikala fortress, Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Museums of Georgia and more
