It has many attractions like 2000 year old corpse from Cheshire bogs, Egyptian mummies, the Parthenon Frieze or Elgin Marbles, the Rosetta Stone and the Roman Portland Vase dating from the 1st century AD. The museum is flocked by about six million visitors per year and is a major tourist attraction.

 

 

Buckingham Palace

It is the official residence of the British monarch in London. This lavish palace was built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham and later acquired by King George in 1762 as a personal residence. The one of England’s most impressive displays of splendor and grandeur is practiced at Buckingham Palace. The palace is a location for state occasions and royal entertaining and a major tourist attraction. The State Rooms forms the nucleus of the working Palace. About more than 50,000 people visit the Palace each year.

 

 

Big Ben

Big Ben
It is the famous clock tower which is actually St. Stephens but mostly called Big Ben after the name of the bell inside. It is part of the Palace of Westminster Hall or The House of Parliament which was built more than 1000 years ago and its construction was completed in 1840. The Parliament is closed to visitors during session but Big Ben remains a popular attraction for tourists for its exterior architecture.

 

 

Madame Tussaud’s

The great and world famous wax gallery is situated at Marylebone Road. It has more than 400 life-sized models of stars, famous politicians, royals and sportsmen, as well as infamous criminals the world has known. We have the models of Amitabh Bacchan, Shahrukh Khan and the dear Mother Teresa from India. There is the ‘Spirit of London’ in the museum which gives the introduction of the figures that have shaped London of today. The Chamber of Honors and The site of Tussaud’s giving its views of the universe are a startling site and one of the biggest in the world.

 

 

London Bridge

London Bridge
London Bridge is stretched across the River Thames between the cities of London and Southwalk. The bridge was the only bridge over the River Thames in London until the Westminster Bridge was opened in 1750. It lies between the Cannon Street Railway Bridge and the Tower Bridge. It is the London’s most legendary bridge emplacement in the world. The bridge is maintained by the Greater London authority but is privately owned and maintained by the Bridge House Trust.

 

 

London Eye London Eye
The London Eye is the new, most extravagant addition to the London’s skyline situated at Thames South Bank. It is 443ft (135cm) tall and weighs more than 250 double-decker buses. It has an incredible view of the whole city and London’s major attractions and is a must see for the tourists all over the world. It was formerly envisioned by David Marks and Julia Barfield as an entry for a millennium landmark competition.
