Sierra Negra Volcano
Sierra Negra Volcano is located in the southeast of Isla Isabela also known as Albermarle Island, the volcano rises to an elevation of nearly 1500 meters. It is the largest and one of most active volcanos in the archipelago, with 10 known eruptions since 1813.

Charles Darwin Research Station
The Charles Darwin Research Station was established in 1959, the Darwin Station primarily a scientific operation, conducts research and assists other researches within the Galapagos National Park and Galapagos Marine Reserve. Visitors can learn about natural history, issues concerning the islands, and see the Tortoise breeding and rearing project at work in the Charles Darwin Research Station.
