Djibouti lies in the northeast Africa, it is a small country and most of the land in Djibouti is stony desert, Djibouti is the last African country to gain independence, majority nearly all of the population of Djibouti lives in the only city in the country which is also the capital city Djibouti city, Djibouti has lakes, dormant volcanoes, a coastline, islands and a very heavy French influence both on the architecture and culture, Djibouti City is the capital city of Djibouti.
