Cartagena

Cartagena is a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is located on Colombia's northern coast, Cartagena is one of the world's most beautiful cities, the cities main attraction is its historic old town surrounded by the city wall. Cartagena is a city full of history, visitors can also enjoy coral reefs, beaches, mangroves, historic monuments and urban beauty.

Palacio de la Inquisicion

Palacio de la Inquisicion was a feared Punishment Tribunal in the 18th century, it is one of the finest buildings in the town, now it is a museum housing exhibits like instruments of torture, pre-Columbian pottery and historical objects.

San Felipe de Barajas Castle

Castillo de San Felipe is one of the oldest buildings in Colombia, it was a fortress built in 1657 by the Spanish for protection against pirates.

Walled City

Cartagena is nicknamed The Walled City as there are walls around the Old City.

Cathedral de San Pedro Claver

The Cathedral de San Pedro Claver was named for the Spanish Jesuit who baptized hundreds of thousands of African slaves, today it is a beautiful monument with stained-glass window, a series of paintings.
