Gitega

Gitega was formerly known as Kitega, it is the second largest city in Burundi, lying east of Bujumbura. Gitega lies about 40 miles (65 km) east of the national capital of Bujumbura, there are a number of attractions in Gitega like the Burundi National Museum, few sanctuaries and the Archdiocese of Gitega.
