Jampa Lhakhang
Jampa Lhakhang is an ancient temple which was built in the year 659 by the Tibetan King Songsten Gampo. In 659, Tibetan King Songsten Gampo ordered 108 temples built in a single day to pin down "The Ogress of Tibet" and at the same time, convert the locals to Buddhism.

Chakhar Lhakhang
The present structure, Chakhar Lhakhang, was built sometime in the 1300s. Previously, the site had been a palace of the Indian king Sindhu Raja. |

Wangdichholing Palace
Wangdichholing Palace was built in 1857, the palace was the principal residence of the first king and was used by the second and third, the palace overlooks Bumthang Chhu (river), Wangdichholing Palace has a simple structure with no grand embellishments and is unlike many other palaces in Bhutan.
