Belize City

Belize City is the largest city and a former capital of Belize, the city is located on the east coast and is a fascinating and bustling place to be in, the capital was shifted to Belmopan in 1970 due to destruction caused by Hurricane Hattie but today Belize City is the travel hub, the nation's principal port and its financial and industrial hub of Belize. For visitors there are plenty of historic and cultural attractions like Caracol and Xunantunich.

Swing Bridge

The swing bridge is on the north side of the city; it is the only manual swing bridge in the world and still has to be swung daily manually.

St. Johns Cathedral

The St. Johns Cathedral was built in 1812 and it is the oldest Anglican Cathedral Church in Central America.

Cockscomb Basin and Jaguar Preserve

Cockscomb Basin or the Jaguar Preserve is in the southern Belize, the facility covers an area of about 150 square miles of tropical forest, it is world’s first sanctuary created specifically for the elusive jaguar, the place is a fascinating destination rich in beauty, wildlife and Maya culture.
