Ghent is the third biggest city in Belgium today, during medieval time Ghent was one of the richest and most powerful cities in Europe and still today it is an important city as it is a growing city with a port and a university. Ghent is also famous for ‘Ghent Fests’ which is a ten day long street festival. For visitors there are attractions ranging from it’s architectural wealth, to Counts' castle, to museums, to markets and more.
