Innsbruck
The main attractions of Innsbruck are the many historical monuments and museums all within walking distance of each other. You will find the Stadtturm (City Tower) which rises high above the town here one can climb to the top to get an unparalleled 360-degree views of Innsbruck and it’s beautiful surrounding countryside. Other attractions include the two most notable museums Sare Ferdinandeum and the Zeughaus, some other attractions are the palaces and other interesting monuments. An important sight to visit is the “Goldenes Dachl”, with thousands of gilded copper plates.

Bergisel Ski Jump
Bergisel Hill is a historic site, here the first ski jump was built here in the 1925 and later in 1964 and 1976, Bergisel Ski Jump is an amazing site towering high in the sky above the city, the Tower stands forty-seven meters tall and provides spectacular views to about thirty thousand spectators also The Bergisel Stadium has elevator, panoramic cafe, restaurants, also there are some breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding summits of Nordkette, Hohe Munde, Patscherkofel and Serles.

Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds)
Swarovski Kristallwelten is an attraction which is a must see when in Innsbruck, it is just 15 minutes away from Busbahnhof i.e. by taking the Wattens bus, here you will arrive at an artificial hill which is actually an enormous face from the mouth of which spouts a waterfall. Beneath the hill lies the Swarovski Crystal World, here one will find crystal wall, Planet of Crystals, Crystal Dome, Crystal Theatre and more.

The Golden Roof
One of the greatest tourist attractions of Innsbruck is the Golden Roof, the Golden Roof was constructed by Archduke Friedrich IV in the fifteenth century, it is actually a 3-story balcony on the central square of the Old Town. Capped with 2.738 gold plated copper tiles.

The Imperial Palace (Hofburg)
The Imperial Palace is a great example of the Baroque architecture, it was built by Archduke Siegmund somewhere around 1460.The Palace. The structure has four wings and a splendid two-story Riesensaal (Giant’s Hall), painted in white and gold.

Ambras Castle
Ambras Castle was built by Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria in the sixteenth century. It is divided into a lower and an upper castle set in the remains of a medieval fortress. The attraction also has exotic objects, such as coral, art works, ivory, rhinoceros’ horn and other artifacts.

Cathedral St. Jacob
Cathedral St. Jacob is huge, it is a two-towered structure roofed with domes. Also in Cathedral St. Jacob there is one other major treasure, the precious Madonna and Child on the main altar, painted by German master Lucas Cranach the Elder.

The Alpine Zoo
The Alpine Zoo is the highest situated zoo in Europe is located at an elevation of about seven hundred and thirty meters, this is the only zoo in the world that show such a full collection of European Alpine animals in aquariums, enclosures and outdoor terrariums. The zoo has more than two thousand animal and one hundred and fifty species of Alpine animals.
