Australian National Botanic Gardens
The Australian National Botanic Gardens is a must visit for all nature lovers, the garden was planned in the 1930s but was officially opened in October 1970. The Gardens are spread over 90 hectares on Black Mountain of which about 40 hectares are currently developed as the Botanic Gardens with wide variety of flora.

Telstra Tower
Telstra Tower provides fantastic 360 degree views of Canberra and the countryside around it, the tower rises 195 meters above the summit of Black Mountain. Telstra Tower was opened in 1980 and is used for TV commercials, FM radio stations, mobile phones and normal phones. Additionally the tower is situated in a beautiful nature reserve with wildlife.
