Iraq: Iraq is a country located in Middle East where suicide bombing, remote control bombing, collateral damage, firing in streets and kidnappings are routine. Every day there are lots of deaths; there is no writ of government. After the war variable interests of different powers or parties have made this place a real mess. The whole country is in bad law and order situation even its capital, Baghdad is not a safe Place.
Afghanistan: This is another country at the junction of Central and South Asia which is full of lawlessness. Afghanistan is the place which has the most drastic effects of 9/11. After the war and still today the tribal leaders of Afghanistan, Al-Qaida and supporters of Previous Taliban regime are fighting the government. It is said that the Government has control only over the capital Kabul and the rest is still a war zone. Firing, suicide bombing, mines, kidnappings and explosions are in routine. Drugs Business is at its peak in Afghanistan.
Somalia: Somalia has its share of problems since long. The country is full of poverty and on ground the country is in hands of various war lords. There is fight going on in between these lords for the control of drugs and weapon trafficking business. Pirates are also a great threat in this region; they hijack many ships passing by the waters of Somalia in order to extort money from various countries.
Congo: Congo is another African country which is full of crimes. After the end of civil war in 2003, there is fight going on between various groups in Congo for power gains. Although UN peace keeping missions are working here but still situation is not yet under control.
Sudan: Sudan is another country which is full of trouble; its present crisis has roots buried in past few decades. At present there is an armed conflict going on between private armed groups and the Government. The main conflict zone is Darfur which is a big desert region. Almost 2 million people have left their region due to this ongoing fighting. International criminal court has already issued warrants against the president of country for crimes against humanity.
Pakistan: Pakistan’s border area with Afghanistan and some other areas are strong holds of home grown Islamic militants and Al-Qaida operatives and hence are not safe for westerners. Although rest is relatively better but yet rapid radicalization of the society means frequent bomb blast and suicide attacks keep taking place throughout the country, even in big cities.
