As Ibiza has mild weather in winter and warm weather in summer, you can have the pleasure of a variety of sports and other activities the whole year round. Sunbathing is not the only option; hiking, diving and other adventure sports including water sports can be enjoyed here. Ibiza also has a wetland and bird sanctuary, situated next to Talamanca beach, known as Ses Feixes. One can enjoy the crystal clear, turquoise waters with spectacular views especially around sunrise and sunset. If you visit during April and May you can see the flamingos which breed during these months, although these stunning pink birds are kind of shy.
The famous Cova d’es Culleram is large cave was a temple to the goddess Tanoit cating back to the days of the Cathaginian rulers and is located in the San Vicente area of Ibiza. Also there are other treasures like the Museu Arqueologic at Dalt Vila, in Ibiza. Es Vedrá Rock is a memorable attraction in Ibiza, it stands almost 400 meters above the sea, the rock takes on an almost magical appearance at sunset. One can take boat rides for a closer look at this beautiful, natural phenomenon and other rocky isles nearby. The most popular time to visit Ibiza is during the summer months of June till October. During this time you will find that the night life is one of the best attractions in Ibiza due to the large amount of tourists that arrive during the peak time. The amazing nightlife experiences on the island of Ibiza are a must for the tourist and cannot be missed so take advantage of all the nightlife attractions, before hitting the bars and nightclubs go for a warm up session to visit the sunset strip in San Antonio during the early evening. It is a short walk from the famous Bar Street in San Antonio’s west end the sunset strip provides the best view of the sun setting over the island of Ibiza, then there are street entertainers also performing along the sunset strip.
