The popularity of Masai Mara National Reserve is growing year after year. The park is spread across 1500 sq kilometers but its actual area is much bigger than that. When in Masai Mara National Reserve one can see large variety of animal species in a radius of just a few kilometers. One can experience things in this park which probably one can’t at any other place on the planet like a giraffe moving in the grassy plains, ostrich walking on the tracks, lions going about there day and many other wild animals doing there thing all around the park.
The Mara River passes through this wild life park which is a boon for all the wildlife, minus the crocodiles that are present at the banks of the river waiting for their preys. There are no boundaries for animals present here and one can find animals like zebras that remain in Tanzania but once is rains they visit the park to graze long grasses and vegetation. The climate here is pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold and the sights are magnificent and breathtaking. If one is really lucky then they can even have the honor of witnessing some rare or endangered species.
Another attraction for the tourists here is the balloon safari. One has to start early to experience the reserve from high up in the sky. Watching this large piece of land with a beautiful landscape with wildlife in carefree mood without noticing you is a great experience. Alternately one can drive among these free animals. Although this life time experience is relatively safe one should be careful as this wildlife is really wild.
