Travel to Samoa

Samoa is in the heart of the pacific, it is a group of four main islands and they are located about halfway between New Zealand and Hawaii. The climate in Samoa is tropical being warm all year round but it may rain between November and April. It can be sultry, alternately sunny and rainy, but always hot and humid. The best place to be in Samoa is near the shoreline as the cooling sea breezes make the shoreline pleasant. Samoa has crystal blue warm water which is beautiful and teeming with all kinds of exotic fish life. There is also exotic wildlife in Samoa which can only be found in Samoa Islands. The history of Samoa is full of folklore, rich culture and myth. The main language spoken is one of oldest forms of Polynesian and of course English is also spoken by a lot of people.

Samoa has four main islands and all of them are quite close to each other so moving from one island to another is not a great problem. These islands are Ta’u, Ofu, Olesseg, and Tutuila. These islands are paradise for divers, snorkelers, nature lovers, hikers, and surfers. The nature lovers will find over 800 species of exotic fish and 200 species of coral here. There is even a national park in Tau; one can also explore the beautiful volcanic areas, though you will need a guide to do this. Samoa has an abundance of gorgeous waterfalls, each with their own characteristic charm; a number of of these waterfalls of fresh spring water are too powerful for a dip, while the others are ideal for a shoulder and neck massage. There are many spectacular waterfalls on Upolu and also in Savaii’s rugged interior.

Another attraction of Samoa is the rainforests. Due to the combination of tropical climate and fertile soil Samoa is the perfect breeding ground for rainforests and other lush landscapes. These rainforests are all full with native wildlife, such as seabirds, skinks, flying foxes, geckos, as well as a plethora of unique flora. The environment of Samoa is tropically lush, with green volcanic peaks plunging to brilliant coral reefs. The visitors have the facility of staying in open Samoan beach houses called fale.

One can also enjoy leisure activities like swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, and deep sea fishing, and hiking. The culture of Samoa is vibrant and colorful; one can get fascinating insights into the lifestyle of the people of Samoa once on the islands. To get more insight to the culture of Samoa you can watch and enjoy the weekly “fiafia” island night dance shows staged at most of the larger hotels and beach resorts. Here you will also get a chance to enjoy authentic Samoan dishes. Hence if you want to have picturesque holiday with plenty to see and do; then the Samoan Paradise makes a great holiday.
